Rules and course of the competition:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

Each category will have 5 competition boulders. Each child will be given a paper on which the “judges” will write their performance on each of the 5 competition boulders. Each boulder will have 5 progression zones for 1-5 points. In this style it will be possible to get up to 25 points for climbing all boulders. At the same time the number of attempts on each boulder will be counted. In case of a tie, the number of attempts will be decisive. There will be one judge at each of the boulders in the competition. The child will hand in his\/her paper to the judge, make an attempt on the boulder and the judge will write down the result. He can then move on to the next boulder. If more than one child wants to climb one boulder, they will have to queue for each attempt. The order will be determined by the number of points and in case of a tie, the lower number of attempts will decide. <\/p>\n\n

We will compete in the categories U9, je (children younger than 9 years – boys + girls) and U11 (children aged 9 and 10 years – boys + girls). For the top three in each category we will have prepared financial rewards in the form of credits on our wall (1st place 1000,- CZK, 2nd place 750,- CZK, 3rd place 500,- CZK) <\/strong> plus smaller prizes in kind.<\/p>\n\n

Rules and course of the competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Anyone who wants to participate in the competition must fill in the application form, pay the entry fee and have the ClimbLife app on their phone. There will be 40 marked boulders to compete on, 20 of which will be newly built and the other 20 will be selected from existing boulders to allow enough room for all the boulders. All boulders will be numbered with extra labels from 1 to 40. With number 1 being the easiest and number 40 being the hardest boulder. Points will only count for the 10 hardest. Number one will have a top for 20 points, 2 for 40 points (each additional + 20) until boulder number 40 is worth 400 points. For every one attempt there will be minus 5 points for the climb. The entire competition will be run in the ClimbLife app environment where you will enter both tops and attempts yourself. We will be relying on your honesty, however the entire wall is under camera surveillance and in case of protests, cheating can easily be detected, so please compete in the spirit of fair play. <\/p>\n\n

We will compete in categories M (men) and F (women). For the first three in each category we will have prepared financial rewards in the form of credits on our wall (1st place 3000,- CZK, 2nd place 2000,- CZK, 3rd place 1000,- CZK) <\/strong> plus in-kind prizes. We will also draw 2 contestants who will receive a 1000,- CZK voucher and a material prize. <\/p>\n\n

HUDY ClimbLife CUP<\/h2>\n\n

For the year 2025 we have prepared a regular competition for all competitive climbers. We will compete during the calendar year 2025 in the ClimbLife app environment. We will evaluate the competition every month. The principle of the competition will be very simple, namely to collect as many points as possible for climbed boulders on our wall during the given month. The round will always end on the last day of the month<\/strong>. We will compete in two categories, namely men and women (without distinction of age). Each month we will draw one competitor to compete so that everyone who enters the competition has a chance to win a prize. <\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

Mechanics and rules of the competition:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The aim of the competition is to collect as many points as possible in the ClimbLife “Ranking” for a given month. Each climber will record the boulders climbed by himself using the ClimbLife app https:\/\/climblife.app\/<\/a> (you can add the icon to your phone on the above mentioned website – you will not find the app in the APP Store or Google Play). So you need to use the ClimbLife app and create a unique registration in it. On the hall, all boulders are marked with a black circle with the boulder number. Under this number you can find the boulder in the app and write down the top and the number of attempts. Although the boulder numbers will be repeated, you can only register the active boulder that is on the wall. The advantage will be a continuously available running order and a quick evaluation of the results at the end of the month. Individual boulders are graded according to difficulty, the difficulty table is available in the app. For a boulder climbed in the Flash style (i.e. on the first attempt) more points are awarded, further attempts are not decisive. From 1.4.2025, we are modifying the condition for winning in a given month, so that the winner from the previous month cannot win in the month when he\/she is paid free entry. After careful consideration, we have decided to do so because the free entry is an advantage to collecting points over other contestants. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

When and where?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n

The main hall of HUDY Boulder Karl\u00edn every month from the first day of the month to the last. <\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

Prices:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The 1st man and woman<\/strong> will get free entry <\/strong> for the next month<\/strong> and 25% off all drinks at our bar. <\/strong>This is a very interesting price worth up to several thousand CZK (assuming regular visits). <\/p>\n\n

We will then draw one lucky winner <\/strong>from all the participants <\/strong>(excluding the first place winners) who <\/strong>will also get next month’s entry completely free. <\/strong>Participation in at least two days in a given month will be required. So don’t hesitate to enter even if you know you won’t be the best. Results and standings are always available in the app. <\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

Control and fair play:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

You write down the tops yourself. If there is any doubt about the veracity of the attempts, we can check the camera footage or ask the winner to show a video of at least one of the hardest boulders. But we will rely on your honesty and fair play. If anyone involved feels that someone is cheating, we will investigate the complaint. So you can check each other. <\/p>\n\n

Changes, modifications and cancellation of the competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

We reserve the right to make any changes or modifications to the rules during the course of the competition without giving any reason. We also reserve the right to terminate the competition or not to announce a winner in the event of disinterest from competitors or doubt as to the fairness of the competition. <\/p>\n\n
